About Center Stage at CHS
Welcome to Center Stage at Cumberland High School, a dynamic and passionate theatre program that was revived in 2023 after the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. A small group of dedicated upperclassmen, alongside the guidance of music teacher, Amanda Santo, brought this program back to life, working to revitalize the CHS community through the power of musical theatre.
Center Stage is not just about putting on a show; it's about enriching the lives of our students and the community through the joy of the performing arts. We are committed to creating a space where students can express themselves, build confidence, and develop lifelong skills in collaboration, creativity, and performance. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, every participant plays a vital role in bringing our productions to life.
As our program continues to grow, we look forward to showcasing the incredible talent and hard work of our students. We are proud of the supportive environment we are building and excited to continue inspiring the CHS community through the transformative power of music and theatre. Join us on this exciting journey as we continue to celebrate the magic of performance!
